LEVER SPRING

The lever spring is a component located between the mainplate and the dial. This component keeps the lever in either a winding position or a time-setting position.

The lever spring is a component that can stand out for its very high quality in the artisanal method. It can be bevelled at the top and bottom and sometimes have a space under the blade to prevent it from marking the mainplate.

For the semi-artisanal method, the lever spring can be made by stamping or electroerosion. In this case, it will be decorated more summarily.

Lever springs can also be manufactured in a simple, industrial way. In this case we talk about a wire spring.
