MICRO-PAINTING

Micropainting is mainly done on dials which are then protected under a glass.

Mother of pearl is generally used as a support, but it is also possible to paint on metal dials. They are painted with a brush and the details are sometimes as fine as the brush has only one hair.

The micro-paintings are all unique pieces. Contrary to transfer, it is impossible to reproduce a micro-painting in an identical way.
