MAX HETZEL

Max Hetzel was an engineer born in Basel in 1921 and died in 2004. A former student of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich (ETHZ), he is known for having invented the tuning-fork watch. After having developed it a first time in the United States, he developed a second version in Switzerland.
