UPDATES, JULY 2024

Following our successful participation in EPHJ – The World of High Precision, the main trade show for the watchmaking, jewellery, medical, and microtechnology industries, we are delighted to announce the release of new videos and some enhancements to improve navigation through our horological documentaries.

We’ve delved deeper into the functioning of a tourbillon and its role in enhancing the precision of mechanical watches by publishing a detailed step-by-step guide on assembling a tourbillon cage. From assembling the cage support to setting the pallet stones and performing the final checks before mounting the tourbillon cage onto the movement, each step has been meticulously documented and filmed to highlight the skills and technical prowess required in such a confined space.

Modern technologies are explored through educational videos that cover the manufacturing processes using selective laser melting (SLM) and the synthesis of polycrystalline diamond by detonation.

In the base elements section, we added extended definitions of measurement units that are widely used in watchmaking. Understanding these core elements and their role is essential for those who would like to excel in the art of crafting exceptional timepieces.

Finally, we have added chapters to our videos to enhance navigation and facilitate the process of rewatching different segments of each published film.
