TIME MEASUREMENT

The term watch complication refers to the display or indication of any additional information beyond the hour, minute and second. This may include the display of astronomical information, such as calendar information, the measurement of differentiated time, such as the chronograph, or watches with a sound signal, such as the Minute Repeater.

This is different from the so-called complicated mechanisms, such as the tourbillon, the resonance or the retrograde display for example.

CHRONOGRAPH

Chronograph is a mechanism that measures a period of time independently of the initial time display.

FLYBACK CHRONOGRAPH

Flyback chronograph has the particularity of being able to stop, reset and restart the chronograph by pressing and releasing a single pusher.

SPLIT-SECONDS CHRONOGRAPH

Split-second chronograph has two superimposed second hands. One can be stopped to read an intermediate time before it catches up with the current timing.
