INDICATION OF SEASONS, EQUINOXES, SOLSTICES & ZODIAC SIGNS
Some watches feature a hand that completes one revolution in a year, indicating the seasons, equinoxes, solstices, and zodiac signs over 360 degrees.
The seasons change with each solstice or equinox. The solstice marking the longest day of the year also signifies the first day of summer, while the solstice marking the shortest day signals the beginning of winter. As for the equinoxes, the only two days in the year when day and night are of equal length, they mark the first day of spring and the first day of autumn.
Regarding the zodiac signs, there are twelve in a year, each changing on dates that vary between the 19th and 23rd of each month. The zodiac sign corresponds to the constellation that the sun occupies at noon.
