HERTZ

The hertz (Hz) is a unit of frequency measurement. It defines the number of times the same event occurs per second. It is commonly used to measure electrical, acoustic, or light frequencies. In watchmaking, the frequency of the regulating organ (oscillator) is measured in hertz or in vibrations per hour.
