Founded in 1901, the Vallée de Joux Technical School (ETVJ) welcomes 300 apprentices and students from Switzerland and neighbouring France. As a centre of expertise for the professions of watchmaking and microtechnology, the ETVJ is deeply integrated into the regional industrial fabric. The ETVJ provides four levels of education, offering full-time or dual initial training (Federal Diploma of Vocational Education and Training in watchmaking, jewellery, technical design, and micromechanics), professional maturity, and its higher education school.
