RUN TO THE BANKING
The run to the banking is the distance travelled by the lever between the moment the escape wheel tooth leaves the impulse plane of one of the pallets and the moment the lever yoke comes into contact with one of the banking pins. Adjusting this distance is one of the essential operations in escapement adjusting.
