WORKBENCH

The workbench is a table or work surface specifically adapted and ergonomically designed for the needs of many craftspeople (watchmakers, jewellers, engravers, etc.). For greater comfort, the watchmaker’s bench is quite high and often equipped with armrests, which may be adjustable. The jeweller’s bench typically features a leather apron to collect precious metal filings. Each workbench is thus tailored to meet the requirements, needs, and comfort of the individual artisan.
