OUT-OF-ROUND

Out-of-round is a fault observed when a gear train wheel or a balance wheel does not rotate concentrically with its axis of rotation. The concentricity of a wheel (and any out-of-round condition) can be checked by rotating the wheel between the jaws of a figure-of-eight calliper.
