This month, Horopedia is enriching its online encyclopaedia with two major additions: a new section dedicated to watchmaking measuring instruments and an educational film devoted to the quartz movement.

Horopedia is expanding its online encyclopaedia with a new video created entirely in 3D animation, dedicated to the counting and transmission organ (gear train).
THE HOROPEDIA FOUNDATION ENGAGED IN THE TAD KOZH NEW TALENT AWARD
Marc André Deschoux, Director of the Horopedia Foundation, will chair the jury of this new competition dedicated to young watchmakers.
NEW CONTENT – FEBRUARY 2026
Two new films are now available: a technical film dedicated to the industrial manufacture of the mainspring, and an institutional film devoted to the Poinçon de Genève. The pages dedicated to the Swiss lever escapement and the regulating organ (balance wheel and hairspring) have also been expanded.
