OC+ LABEL – OBSERVATOIRE CHRONOMÉTRIQUE DE GENÈVE

The OC+ label is a certification developed by the Timelab Foundation, which goes beyond the standards of the ISO 3159 “chronometer certified” norm. It is exclusively reserved for Swiss watches. The tests are carried out on fully assembled watches, within their cases, in order to replicate real-life conditions of use.

The testing protocol includes a comprehensive series of examinations conducted over 21 days, focusing in particular on:
Chronometric precision – evaluation according to ISO 3159 standards, complemented by a wearing simulation.
Power reserve – verification that the watch operates for the specified duration without rewinding.
Water resistance – tests in compliance with ISO 22810, including overpressure, immersion, and condensation trials.
Magnetic resistance – evaluation according to ISO 764, exposing the watch to a magnetic field of 4800 A/m in various positions.

Successfully passing all these tests is required to obtain the OC+ label, certifying a high level of reliability and performance.
