ELECTROLYSIS

Electrolysis is a method that enables chemical reactions to take place through the application of an electrical current. In watchmaking, electrolysis is used for galvanic surface treatments (such as gilding and rhodium plating), anodising (for aluminium and titanium), and in the UV-LIGA electroforming process.
