UPDATES, AUGUST 2024
The Horopedia Foundation is thrilled to announce the establishment of a new partnership with the Horological Society of New York (HSNY). This collaboration aims to enhance horological knowledge and excellence and to promote watchmaking culture on an international scale.
Since its inception, the Foundation’s goal has been to contribute to the long-term success and visibility of the watch industry by sharing knowledge and highlighting the know-how, the technical and artistic skills accumulated over the years, and those in the making. The new partnership with HSNY will advance mutual interests in the preservation and education of horological heritage.
“We are thrilled to draw some bridges with like-minded people defending and educating all the crafts behind the watchmaking. Together, we can enhance the reach and impact of our efforts to document and celebrate the rich history of timekeeping. We are eager to embark on this journey with HSNY and to see the profound influence our combined efforts will have on the global horological community.”
News from the Horopedia Foundation will soon be available to browse at HSNY’s Jost Bürgi Research Library.
Founded in 1866, the Horological Society of New York (HSNY) is one of the oldest continuously operating horological associations in the world.
